Catching up with the SnowFlakes of Life

We haven't posted in forever, but there have been many unique and beautiful moments in our lives that have added up to make our winter beautiful so far.

To start our Holiday Season off right my brother Nicholas came home from his mission about 10 days before Christmas. We were able to go home to Missouri early to meet him at the airport. I loved the Springfield Airport for having this play structure the kids could play on while we waited since Nick's flight was a bit behind. The kids had a blast.

Welcome Home Elder Jones!!!!

We were also able to make some delicious and beautiful cookies while at Grandma's house with the kids, Aunt Debbie, Beth, Grandma and I. Thanks to Aunt Debbie and Grandma for the fun time and delicious cookie doughs. We must have had at least five different sugar cookie doughs to try! It was a lot of fun.

Who says kids need toys for Christmas!? This girl was tickled pink with a pair of shoes! She had to wear them around even though they are at least a size too big. I can't wait until Spring when she can wear these everywhere.

Thanks Beth for the thoughtful gifts on Cookie Day!

Here are Geoffrey and Gwen sharing the love of the season! How cute :).

The kids were able to spend lots of time with their fun Aunt Cheyanne too!

Gwen loves mooing like a cow!

The children were so great running errands and doing things we wanted to do that we decided to dedicate a fun night just for them. So we went to Miner Mikes! They loved it.

And we might have had a little fun too ;).

Hmm . . . I guess you can totally tell that I had the camera and was in charge of Gwen because I only had ONE clear picture of Geoffrey from Miner Mikes! Poor Guy.

And last, but not least we have had a fun time in our backyard this winter. We have two little hills in our yard that are perfect for young children to sled on! I feel really blessed to have this because you don't find such great hills in most people's backyards around here!

My snowbunny and snow angel!
